Translator Pro: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026 · Bahasa Melayu

Translator Pro (“the app”) is made by Jeffrey Tan Wai Hock, an individual developer in Malaysia (“we”, “us”), who is responsible for this policy. Contact: cosmicbunny880@gmail.com.

In short: the app translates on your phone, has no accounts, and sends us nothing: not your text, voice, photos, screen or messages. We have no servers that receive them. The app shows ads from Google, and Google receives some information for them, as described below.

What stays on your phone

We don’t collect any of this; it is processed on your phone only.

What other companies receive

These companies may process information outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

We don’t process your personal data ourselves. For what Google receives through the app: personalised ads and the use of your advertising ID rely on your consent, which you can withdraw in Ad privacy choices; non-personalised ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests (keeping the app free and safe); purchases are needed to perform the contract you make with Google Play.

How long

Your history stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app. We keep nothing. Google keeps ad and purchase information under its own policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, the CCPA in California, or Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. As we hold no data about you, the data on your phone is yours to delete in the app or by uninstalling it, and Google handles requests about ad data (Google’s privacy controls). You can still contact us with any question or request.

Sale and sharing (US state laws). We don’t sell personal information. Showing personalised ads with Google AdMob can count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws: you can opt out in Ad privacy choices (where shown), by deleting your advertising ID, or by buying Remove ads.

Artificial intelligence

Translations, the built-in voices and speech recognition are made by AI models on your phone. The built-in voices are computer-generated, and translations can be wrong: don’t rely on them where a mistake could cause harm.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
